Hersham Village Market is a local cooperative market serving the communities of Hersham and the surrounding areas.
We pride ourselves on selling high quality, home produced goods and fresh seasonal plants, flowers and vegetables. All of our produce is either home grown, homemade or hand crafted.
Your and our market is run by our producers and by a small handful of volunteers. A proportion of the money from sales is used to cover the running costs of the markets, but the majority is returned to the producer. Nobody makes huge profits – we’re here because we’re passionate about what we produce and we want to share it! Our market isn’t just about selling, it’s also a friendly and sociable place for everybody.
There's been a local market in Hersham for over 30 years. Originally we were part of the WI Markets, then we became known as Country Markets.
In 2008 we went independent and set up the current Hersham Village Market as a local cooperative.
We'd like our buyers to love our produce as much as we do and we take a great deal of care to ensure the quality of everything we sell.
All of our food producers hold a current food hygiene certificate and checks are frequently made to ensure the quality and safety of everything we sell.
We're always looking for new people to get involved -
At the moment we are looking for a new Savoury cook. We can’t promise that you’ll get rich but we do promise you’ll be welcomed. As our market is run on a cooperative basis we are unfortunately unable to accept trades people.
